Yes, it's another anthrax-type action with actions intended to have specific political and news impact. If as the FBI profiler says, it's a team of two or more, that would fit some of the other curious facts: there have been "off-duty police" and similar types on the scene within seconds, in the Oct 2nd case even before the hit. Someone (other than the FBI) should be keeping track. At this point, public areas are filled with public safety officers so it wouldn't be surprising, except one would think the shooter wanting to avoid detection would choose other opportunities.

You are right. Message #308069 from JDN at Oct 14, 2002 7:07 AM My theory is that the shooter is operating out of this truck and/or van as follows: He fires from within the interior of the vehicle (which is why noone sees him/her) and the driver then drives off immediately before anyone gets their senses about them. Wouldnt surprise me if sometimes he even uses a silencer. Heck there was a police officer within 50 yds this last time and I understand the shot when right over his head and even he has no idea who did it. I know the experts dont say this but I gotta believe this is a terrorist attempting to stir up panic in our nations capital areas. jdn
