And may the Maddux family sleep well tonight knowing that the killer of Holly Maddux, has, after 25 years, finally been tried and convicted to the maximum possible sentence. But i can sympathize with the jurist that expressed rage that the coviction of death was not permitted due to the agreement with the French Government. As i mentioned once i actually met Ira Einhorn years ago, in 1968; and right after meeting him said to my wife, that man is EVIL and all those following him are blind to what he really is, a motor mouth self-infatuated full-fledged psycopath. And the ONLY reason he escaped in first place was due to all the city hall cronies sucked in by that man. And was it not Arlen Specter that permitted him to leave prison before his trial???(correct me if i am wrong) And here's a toast to Lynn Abraham, who NEVER quit. PaxMax Einhorn found guilty of first-degree murder By Jacqueline Soteropolous and Terry Bitman Inquirer Staff Writers AKIRA SUWA / Inquirer Staff Photographer Meg Wakeman, sister of Holly Maddux, speaks to reporters after the verdict as her brother John Maddux looks on. More Photos <<Ira Einhorn was convicted this morning of first-degree murder in one of the city’s most notorious crimes: the slaying 25 years ago of girlfriend Holly Maddux, whose mummified remains were found in a steamer trunk in Einhorn’s Powelton Village apartment. Einhorn, 62, was given an automatic sentence of life in prison without parole on the first-degree murder charge. His lawyer said Einhorn would appeal. The defendant stood stern-faced as the verdict was read. After hearing his fate, he blinked his eyes rapidly and brushed them with his hand. He declined the judge’s offer to address the court. The verdict drew smiles from the family of Maddux, who had attended the trial.>> philly.com
