This was an AP report.....I've suggested all the way along, on any situation, that we read critically ANY report or so called news. The reporter/s who compiled should have been specific here....WHO were the so called "authorities"....and WHEN did they say that....Was it just one person, or several ??? Or was it just a figment of the reporter/s mind???? Agree with you that: <<<<<the last thing you want to do is attach some nationwide social importance to a deranged sniper.>>>>> And authorities began describing the serial sniper as not just a local threat, but an attempt to terrorize an already anxious nation. PS....certainly question if this was a US national...am beginning to agree with Jorj....
