It's great to see you drop by the homestead this morning and tell us about your newfound employment. I know how disappointed you were when the Barnes & Noble thing didn't come thru for you ... :) Your new project with kids and music sounds right up your alley. Funny how the use-it-or-lose-it principle slips up on us, whether it's the voice or, in my case, shooting a basketball. I got away from the game when I was about 40, probably after discovering that there comes a point when white men really, really can't jump. Several years ago, after a long absence from the court, I decided to try my hand a shooting a basketball and was shocked that I couldn't hit the backboard, much less the basket. But as you're discovering, with a little practice I was able to regain the shooting touch. If I could only rebound, dribble and slam-dunk the ball again, I could get back in the game here at almost 60. Oh well, at least the typing fingers are still working as well as ever.
