Al >It is quite obvious to me that scoundrels have run the US for some number of years.

Who am I to argue with you?

>Take Bill Clinton for example--the United States' first "black" president

Can't argue that he was/is a helluva smart guy with great charisma and a big IQ. Not to speak about his cigar. Of course, I assume "black" refers to his character.

>no compunctions about spraying the former Yugoslavia full of depleted uraniam shells

None at all. Like Dubya's dad did in Iraq first time round.

> Kosovo--I thought they were our friends

Does the US have any friends? Or is it simply partners-in-crime for the time being? Just like Saddam and Ghadaffi and, of course, the elusive pimpernel. You seek him here, you seek him there but no-one looks very near!

The KLA and the US fought side-by-side against the Serbs and who do you think was their big ally --- why none other than that well-known "Jihad Pimpernel", Osama bin Laden, the very one who is now being blamed for the heinous murders in Bali. And doubtless also for the attack on the French tanker. Amazing how his name resurfaces, together with a suitable video, every time the US administration (or those who are behind it) needs a scapegoat for their nefarious deeds. That's, of course, when they can't pin it on Saddam, like they tried with the anthrax.

>The small, ineffective attack on the US consulate there smacks of fishyness. Hard to believe anything these days--it may all be misdirection.

The Sherlock Holmes award for slick detective work goes to you, this evening, dear fellow. Congratulations.

>I think if the US pulled back from the Iraqi war talk, the chances would increase that Saddam could be ousted by his own people.

Who cares about Saddam. The big problem would be what would Mr Bush and his war party talk about if they couldn't talk about Saddam and his WMD etc.? God forbid that they would have to do something about real issues like the US economy for example.

>As it is now they are united against imperialists from Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula

That's only the ones who couldn't get Green Cards!
