i recently saw a documentary that was aired on PBS on islam. on it, experts and professors on islam (who were by the way of american and christian backgrounds) stated that muhammad was a tolerant person. this is contrary to what you are saying. this documentary aired well after september 11th, 2001. here is some info on it: 1. the making of : pbs.org 2. links to the various segments of the documentary: pbs.org
