I finally sold a few of my DJX LEAP puts to cover some FAX. This may not have been a good swap but at least FAX does pay monthly income. I was afraid of generating a regulation T margin call because FAX would have to be bought in my cash account, and the minute the word "federal" gets into a margin clerk's head they get real mean.

I once had to march down to the office with a check for several thousands of dollars even though I had huge equity in my accounts because of something I bought that was marked "cash" rather than "margin."
