Oops, they did it again.

The WH "accidentally" sent out email which said Byrd is senile and hispanics who voted against the President were bad.

Does he really believe that Saddam Hussein, whom he now calls "a student of Stalin," is going to launch a war with the United States, a military colossus? Get real, Mr. President

For a lady of Helen Thoma's age, she apparently has forgotten (ignored) the lessons of history...

Stalin wasn't always an all-powerful leader.. And neither waa Hitler.

But once they were able to seize and hold power and influence throughout the rest of their respective territories, they naturally sought to expand their area of control outside the boundaries of their nation..

And this is why Saddam seeks Nuclear weapons... To see the ability to coerce and dominate the rest of the Arab nations in the region. It's the whole fundamental raison d'etre of the Baathist ideology.

And apparently Helen is content to have the Iraqi people forever languish under the same economic sanctions as they have endured for the past 12 years??

Well... let's just say that she has failed to persuade me that there isn't, AND HASN'T, been a threat.
