>>Re Dan Niles<<

WC -

Only too true. The fact is that I'd be much more inclined to follow Mr. Pink's advice than that of Dan Niles. Or any analyst at a commercial brokerage.

On the other hand, what do I know?

One could dub the often wrong Lehman analyst Dan deNiles for all the humping bumping, grinding and defending this investment banking whore does for Lehman banking clients.

I believe it was a little over 2 years ago that Dan Niles issued a buy rating on Intel at 75 and later that same day INTC issued a warning and the stock dropped 30%.

Actually Niles is one of the better bean counters around but, unfortunately, counting yesterday's beans says very little about tomorrow's profits.
