Terry >What do we have for an alternative?

Come to think of it, whenever I see or hear Joe Lieberman I want to puke. But, surely, there are some people of ability and integrity left in the US. If not, where have they all gone?

>stop Saddam from working with others to do damage to Israel and the US.

I have little sympathy for Israel. In fact, I think a great deal of the present international tension which could, in fact, lead to a world war has to do with Israel's obvious decision that the only "solution" to the apparently insoluble problem in the Mid East is for it and the US to re-draw the map of the whole region and then shift out all the Palestinians, en bloc, into Saudi, Iraq or wherever.

Frankly, and notwithstanding all the propaganda, I don't buy the story that Saddam is a threat to world peace. And, that's not to say I'm a supporter of his. I don't like the guy who runs China and I'm not mad about Putin, either. Does that mean they should be "taken out"? And, talking about bad guys, how about Mugabe --- who, in fact, I do agree should be removed ASAP --- and with "maximum prejudice"

Well, let's take a look at Florida...

* Majority of Felons who somehow were given a ballot voted for Gore.

* Democrats designed a confusing ballot so they could contest election if they lost.

* Democratic poll workers and volunteers helped hundreds of immigrant Hatians vote...democratic.

* 14,000 New Yorkers who reside part of the year in Florida voted in both states.

Here in Wisconsin, Democratic volunteers from New York gave homeless people cigarettes to vote democratic and the presidential race here was also very close.

Da da da da da. Plenty of shady crap to go around. But no Al Gore please.
