Military recruiters have always had access to high school students, just as other business career people do. What is wrong with that... you are acting like that is some big deal.

Dear Pat: RECRUITERS, not DRAFT. Whats wrong with that, I doubt its a law just common sense. Names are given to CPA firms, railroads, anyone who asks, why would you not want to have our services be allowed to pitch what they have to offer?? Gosh, things sure have gone downhill since WWII. I had 3 bros. one was 18, joined Marines, one was 16 Joined Navy with parents letter 3rd was 14 and ran off to join the Navy. They didnt catch up with him until boot camp was over. I enlisted in USMC in 61 even though I was a H.S. grad with academic diploma intent on college ultimately. Seems to me people need to have more respect and honor for the people making our lifestyle possible. jdn
