I agree he wasn't a sniper in the military or police. The consensus seems to be that the shots he is taking are not that difficult, requiring some skill and a good weapon but not professional sniper talent. If he (they) had been a pro, I expect he (they) would be taking more difficult shots.

Imagine what it would be like to have a professional trained by our military to be a sniper. Trained to hide, trained to stalk, trained to hit targets from 700 to 1,000 yards, trained to avoid detection, trained to survive in the field, . . . .

I think we are dealing with a shooter and accomplice in the Rockville area on October 2 and 4. These are nearly drive-by shootings as described in one of the published reports. Then the better shooter took shots in Bowie, Manassas, Fredericksburg, and Masoponax. I still am clinging to my thought that these idiots may be using Route 301 to bypass the the main highways. You can see an escape route from Masoponax on Route 17 to Route 301. You can see the same from Route 50 in Bowie to Route 301. But, who knows
