Aren't there active members of the Nazi party in the USA now? I believe so. It's not illegal to join an organization even if the views of that organization are despicable to most. I think that's called "free speech" or something like that. Isn't that one of the principles this country was built on? Now, when they start acting on their beliefs to commit crimes against others, then we can do something to stop them. So, I see a major difference between joining an organization and committing crimes based on the beliefs of the organization. Until a crime is committed, we can only legally employ peaceful means to dissuade people from their beliefs and try to bring them back to a more humane view of the world.
