I think it is a good idea to focus resources where they will do the most good. There is no way that poking Saddam with a big stick is going to advance the end of terrorism. If we waged war on gasoline consumption we would do more to end terrorism than we would by bancrupting the country fighting the last millenium's wars, in junior form.
