scott- i can't believe you've seen princess louisa inlet. that's one of bc's jewels. good for you. you'll have to come back - desolation sound is one of the world's foremost boating destinations. my hubby's from bc and has travelled the area, but i haven't been up there yet. there's too much to see locally (we're in a suburb 1/2 hour south of vancouver). besides which we now travel up to the queen charlottes which is another must see destination. accommodationsbc.com on the map, desolation sound (and princess louisa inlet) would be just north of the campbell river area. rose
