Both the witnesses to tonight's killing and the ones previous report seeing a white (cream) Chevy Astro van with a ladder rack on top. If these guys were so meticulous that they carefully planned their attacks replete with a failsafe escape route, then why they heck would they still be using the same vehicle? Give me a break. The *first* thing I'd do if I really wanted to elude police for as long as possible would be to use a variety of stolen automobiles to evade easy detection. Then I'd ditch the car near where I'd park my own car.

You'd have to think either these guys know they'll be caught really soon and don't care, or they truly don't think they'll be caught at all. I'm leaning toward the latter simply because if they truly thought they were close to being captured I'd think they'd start trying to raise the body count as high as possible as fast as possible. Of course, if the latter, it begs the question just who would be dumb enough to think they wouldn't be caught? My only thought is an 18-0 year old. I don't know... maybe it's a couple of military drop outs that paint houses for a living.

<<Police said they were looking for a vehicle seen leaving the crime scene with a silver ladder rack on the top. "We have some lookout information ... This vehicle may be involved ... a cream-colored Astro van with the right rear tail light out," Manger said. >. what the hell, AGAIN the astro-van with a silver-ladder rack!! He is making no attempt to hide his vehicle. And yet it has yet to be found!.
And now we even have a right-rear tail-light out. You would think the "dragnet" would have had that spotted moments after it was onto the police radios.
Bizarre. max

Re: Don't the israelis have a similar situation with snipers picking of random people?

Yes, they do.... The situation in Washington DC replicates what happened in Belgium from 1982 to 1985. At that time, Israeli paratroopers terrorized a whole area --the Brabant Wallon-- in an attempt to compel Belgium to change her policy towards Israel and the Mideast. 29 innocent Belgians were brutally killed and, about 20 years later, we still don't know who were the so-called "mad killers". By the way, the crime precincts were similar: all 29 victims were shot on parking lots belonging to popular shopping malls (Delhaize, Colruyt). Of course, the conspiracy reached the highest levels of the state (Belgium's Justice Minister at the time was Mr Jean Gol, a Belgian Jew, who insisted that the killings were neither terrorist nor political blackmail).

The media's pet theory was that it was a coup d'etat attempt by far-right elements and that the Belgian gendarmerie was involved.... They also pointed to the CIA and its "strategy of tension" devised to "harden" leftist European regimes. However, that theory doesn't hold water in the case of Belgium since the Belgian Communist party, and the Belgian far-left in general, was never in a position to enter any government coalition. So, there was no point for the CIA to lump Belgium together with Italy, France and Germany --all countries where the Communists and the Greens/Pacifists used to enjoy huge constituencies post-1945.
