a Sharon point of view. I won't call it an Israeli one

Come on John, face reality. It is an Israeli point of view. They voted for Sharon, and they back him now. You are so fixated on Sharon that it limits your ability to see what is going on there.

Nope, Hawk. You see the context from a Sharon point of view.

No John... You were a college professor... I'm sure you know the difference (when it suits you) between FREE AND OPPOSED ELECTIONS (Israel), and UNOPPOSED AND MANIPULATED ELECTIONS (Palestinian Authority).

Does Sharon threaten to kill anyone who collaborates with those Israelis who want a Palestinian state, as Arafat has done with those Palestinian leaders who seek to negotiate with the Israelis?

No... Which suggests that Sharon represents THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL, until they see fit to replace him through their WELL ESTABLISHED ELECTORAL SYSTEM.

These threats to kill Palestinians leaders who openly opposed Arafat and demanded reforms has been widely reported. Of course, folks like yourself WHO SUBSCRIBE TO ARAFAT'S POINT OF VIEW obviously believe that is a natual part of "participatory government", RIGHT???

This week, the Arafat-affiliated Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades issued a statement calling critics of Arafat "traitors who cooperate with Israel," while threatening to kill any PA official who holds contacts with Israel over the establishment of a new leadership.

On Tuesday in Ramallah, these threats were carried out. Masked gunmen opened fire at the home of Nabil Amr, a former PA cabinet member who has openly challenged Arafat and called for wide-scale reforms in the PA. Palestinian sources told The Jerusalem Post they believed the attack was carried out by Fatah gunmen as a warning to PA officials who are trying to undermine Arafat's rule.

Amr, who until recently served as PA minister for parliamentary affairs, recently published an article in London's Arab newspaper blasting Arafat for having missed an historic opportunity by rejecting proposals at Camp David. "After two years of bloodshed, we are now calling for what we rejected," he wrote. He also suggested that many senior PA officials are corrupt and responsible for the theft of public funds.

Yeah... this is the "point of view" that you REJECT, while playing "sock puppet" to an utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt dictator like Arafat.

As for the "caps key"... it seems to be the only thing you bother paying attention to...
