I have read them, Prof. All of them, including the rebuttals to the version you presumably champion. And the unanswered question, even if the NYR versions to which you refer are true, is why there were no further negotiations. Just an abrupt volte face on Arafat's part. Left the table without a response. Is that a mark of good faith? The offers were not insulting, even if one considers your NYR view to be correct which is highly questionable. Just ask Bill Clinton. He was there.
