Thank you TC.
I was always of the option that Options are not subject to this rule. In any case I could so far trade options indiscriminatly. I guess, I always had, at least one day trade left. I have to watch this in the future.
I only sold 3 stocks NVLS, ENZN, and GNSS but I didn't buy anything. It is a stupid and unfair rule.
Walter

Day trading rule:
I just have been reading the day trade rules,in the IB Day Trading FAQ and I copied and pasted the following sentence concerning options:
* Do the new day-trading rules apply to options, futures, and non-US stock?
No. These new restrictions do not apply to options, futures, and non-US stock trading.
So there must be something wrong.
