Chat Notes 10/15 10:00 AM

Daily Signals: (Inter-Day)

All indices are in the CLASS 1 SELL area, a close at or very near the high of the day will produce more reliable closing CLASS 1 SELL signals.

Yesterday had a closing CLASS 1 SELL on the NDX only, but Donald is considering today as the day the signals are lined up across the board.

Donald built up a (13%) short position as of yesterday, after taking a lot of profit on his long positions. Donald will add a small short position (4-5%) today (if) a closing CLASS 1 SELL signal is produced. He noted how the trend has changed to an up trend for the interim now that the market has made a higher high. Donald is watching for a higher low to confirm the change in trend.

The Capitulation Indicator has fulfilled the minimum requirement 18% run up, by reaching +19% at the high of the morning on the NDX. The Capitulation Indicator has a recalculated track record of 24 for 24 successful calls.

Puts I bought at HOD on Fri now down 50%. Calls dumped on friday have yet again doubled.

Lesson learned: The first eighth and the last eighth are the most expensive eighths in the world.

Sold early on whatever few longs I had remaining, picked up a few Nov 21 QQQ puts, with an understanding that it is probably not the top yet... Just trying to make a couple of $$... g/ng.

Any opinions about the Max Pain dynamic this month? Do we consolidate / retrace into Max Pain, or is a possibility of hedging by the sellers real?
