Is there any reason to think that Snaptrack couldn't be set up to use GPS as a default, but if unavailable to look for Galileo signals when/if they ever become a reality? Or give you the option to setup which one is the default?

Beats me. I'm just a non-techie ignoramus.

More interested in whether Snaptrack will get serious competition as a result of Galileo. I understand that Ericsson has some sort of multi-mode method for tracking shipping containers, trailers, and other devices but I don't know how prevalent its technology might be.
