if you really want to get into it there are still problems with inflation specific to the labor market. There are workers who were hired when labor costs were inflated. I expect to see more layoffs in companies that will in time replace some of these over paid workers with CHEAPER labor. In the consumer durable goods we are looking at some deflation. People are holding off on purchases waiting for lower prices (which if you look at prices of electronics , including computers, those prices are falling. Auto prices are also moving lower as are such things as travel. Food prices are still high as are gas prices) SO make of it what you will.
