White male American, under 45, operating with someone else. I'm quite confident about the WMA part, not so confident about the partner. I think it's likely he has a partner because normally thrill-killers operating alone kill a victim, and then savor it. They usually don't kill three more in 90 minutes. Two people might be egging each other on. Also, the easy getaways could be achieved with another person driving. Hard to say whether they are trading shots--it could be one guy doing all the shooting and the other the driving. If this person was a political terrorist, he'd be communicating to the media his agenda. He takes weekends off because he's a big football fan. Or more likely he uses a work vehicle. I thought they had him last night when they grabbed the Motorola guy, but then the 11th victim was killed. Of course, that could have been the partner shooter--what better way to deflect suspicion of your partner in crime, who is in custody.

Three questions: 1. male or female? Male. Just a guess. Hard to imagine a woman shooting a kid being the male chauvinst pig that I am. 2. single shooter or team of shooters (or single shooter and accomplice)? Single shooter. A guess again but more educated. I'm basing this on the fact that the press reports seem to indicate the casings/fragment being recovered are all from the same gun. Generally, a sniper's weapon is a pretty personal item. I know SF guys who treated their weapon like it was a member of the family. Unlikely the same weapon is being passed around between members of a team. Could be a lookout involved but my guess it is a solitary venture. 3. American or furriner? Guessing again, but just a gut feeling that this is home grown terror.

Two American males. There have been reports of two people in the suspect vehicle. Only one of them will be the killer, though. Most homicides are committed by males. And female serial killers are quite rare. American? Just a guess. Nothing to particularly mark it as connected to terrorism, though. Oh, and Duray's theory that the Bush Administration is behind this, is, of course, only an indication of the sickeness of his own mind.

Male. Working alone but maybe identifying with some group or cause that may be domestic but is anti-American. Of course it could be a lone nut. But in that article someone posted, I learned something I didn't know -- that "I am God" is a line computer game players use to declare their victory over their opponents. So maybe it's a computer game nut, American.
