I'm sure you are trying your best to make an intelligent contribution to the discussion. Try this: before assigning mysterious motives, try debating the facts in the essay. That's what people do when interested and brave enough to explore the actual truth of a situation. The alternative is to assign unworthy motives first, then conveniently dismiss all facts as being too difficult to understand or unworthy. That's the present state of the administration propaganda and the media. That's like saying "Linux is motivated by microsoft-envy, so it must be stupid", instead of looking at the system itself and debating actual issues.
