I'm surprised that political terrorists have not shot up a restaurant or blown up a car bomb here since in the last 13 months. I live and work in Manhattan. Trust me, I'm far more surprised than you are. Could it be there are less potential terrorist threats living in this country than we feared? It certainly could, though with issues like these, I'd prefer to err slightly on the side of vigilance and caution. If this shooter is a political terrorist, he's not getting his message out effectively. That's the thing about terrorists, domestic or foreign: they're so goddamned inefficient. It's terribly annoying, as is their unpredictable nature. He's perhaps inadvertently helping the Bush administration by diverting potential press coverage of the failing economy. Depending upon who you ask, there's no "perhaps" or "inadvertently" about it. I'm not one of those people, though. :-) LPS5
