Sarmad, I think most of those inclined to short are now safely on the sidelines waiting for the rally to show signs that it is going to fail. If you have been following my posts then you know I have been expecting this run to last a while but it is running awful hard and fast so we will have to wait a while longer to find out but it may fail sooner.

From Briefing.com: 14:00 ET Dow +299, Nasdaq +52, S&P +32.15: [BRIEFING.COM] Indices are off their highs, but not by much as sellers have been a reluctant bunch today... A substantive sell-off in the Treasury market, the resurgence of the financial and technology stocks, and the recognition that the market is entering a seasonally strong period are factors leading to the surge in buying interest, not to mention increased speculation that the Oct. 10 low marked the bottom for the market... What Intel (INTC 16.18 +1.08) has to say after the close today when it reports its Q3 results may give the market added reason to believe, or to discredit, that viewpoint... According to Multex, Intel is expected to post a profit of $0.13 per share on revenues of $6.5 bln... Q4 estimates for Intel are currently pegged at $0.16 and $6.9 bln, respectively... NYSE Adv/Dec 2451/795... Nasdaq Adv/Dec 2457/770.
