I'd still like to see a list of legal, but uncounted Bush vote totals.

Re: overseas ballots. If an absentee ballot is postmarked past the legal deadline... then it isn't a legal ballot.

Don't you think election laws should be respected?

If not, then we will find ourselves in a situation where laws are ignored... and people are picking and choosing what laws they wish to respect.

Election officials in various localities will only enforce laws which help their favored candidates... and uniform enforcement of the laws will be lost.

Is that what you'd have?

Say what? The counting of absentee ballots in California, and the tabulation of the votes, went on for more than a week. Does Florida ring a bell? Where do you get the idea that 400,000 properly cast absentee ballots went uncounted? Do you really think that other candidates in California in close races would let this happen? Here is the certificate from the GOP Secretary of State, which was not signed until December 15, 2000:
