As far as I can tell, every action PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH is taking follows the principles laid out in the op-ed piece. Reagan was masterful. PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH seems also to be masterful. PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH has the same outstanding honor, honesty and character as President Reagan. In my opinion.

Demonstrates the value of leadership.

Before Bush's speech to the U.N., the U.N. would have been happy just to take pot shots. Bush embarrassed them into action.

The President, through leadership has the power to change public opinion and to "rally" the people behind him. Reagan was a master at it.

Bush seems to be doing well in that regard. I'll bet he gets just the resolution he wants from the U.N. also - fwiw.
