I think we're back on track after Big Blue and especially MSFT reported today. It may just make many folks believe that there's still a stock market. The right companies - the leaders - can still make money. Oh, yes, I took a bath today when the broker's fax came in reporting miserable earning for Scientific-Atlanta. Only had a few shares but it's humbling. I guess my only excuse is that John Dessauer made me buy it.

So what about my safe haven bond funds that we scampered out of in the last minute - all losing some money at the exit. If the stocks dump again, will the bonds still be there for safety?

One of the market timers always said that you must be in the market when those special days occur, but who knows where or when? You just have to be long there. All I think is that Friday should be another up day on the Nasdaq.

The last quarter could be a winner. Stay on track a while.
