That is actually wrong. The polls, FWIW, were close. Unfortunately, none (except Zogby?) factored in up to 2 million fabricated votes...

Zogby was dead on - He had it tied. Perhaps other polls were different, but they have been historically less accurate than Zogby. Zogby's polls are 1000 likely voters, which is part of why he has been so accurate.

In the case of the poll in question, you have 1000 adults.
No mention of how many of these are registered voters. The poll makes some distinction between registered and likely.

Even assuming that they all are registered, historically we know that only half of registered voters actually vote.

That leaves 500. To small for any statewide election.

If you factor in that some of these are not registered, the number could be as low as 250.

So pick any number between 250 and 500 - and factor that over 460+ individual elections. The poll is meaningless.
