Tim, they occupied the Sinai during the 6 day war and then, the UN ordered them to give it back to Egypt. I don't see that as a major concession.

The UN tells Israel all sorts of things most of which are ignored because Israel is a sovereign state that sees itself as risk and sees the UN as not supporting its interest. Sinai provided Israel with a great strategic buffer against Egypt but finally enough trust had been built that Israel could give it up. It was a big concession.


Tim, so then what you called Israel's big concession happened over 30 years ago and benefited Egypt, not the Palestinians.

Maybe that's why they can't make any headway with the Palestinians.
