Lizzie,

PCs are a maturing industry, it would be nice to take the focus off [edit: INTC] and move to, say, Qualcomm as a bellwether.

LOL. Not likely, with QCOM revenues only about 10% of INTC's.

Lizzie

Thanks for the info.

In this fragile market phase environment any drop of rain such as the Intel statement will be reason to sell.

Any guesses about where the current rally tops?

Intel and Novellus news mean tomorrow will be down, but is that the end of this week-long rally? It sure has the smell of a bear market rally, fast and furious.

The July and August rallies failed at 15, which is also where the 200DMA currently is.

That may be too optimistic a target, though, as it would be a near-doubling off recent lows. I'm trying to decide where, in the 12-15 range, to sell my current position. Above 15, I'm comfortable shorting CSCO.

Thinking about shorting QCOM, also, if they get to 40.
