At the top, he pulled a .22-caliber rifle from his pants, pointed it at her and asked, "How would you like me to shoot you?"

Dunbar fired in response.

Asked, and answered.

My daughter once had a less violent incident like that and I gave her a .32 in case she's ever gets stuck in a situation. We've been target practicing since she was a teen, but I'd be pissed if she did what Dunbar did.

This woman clearly went hunting for the dude after having that experience once, then going out again in 90 minutes and packing a .357. She let him off easy, obviously. Keep in mind this was vigilante justice... even tho' no jury would convict her of anything but self-defense, then again someone should give her a medal for putting herself back in harm's way to get this guy, or the local chief should come up with a neighborhood watch program.

the suspect came up on a female victim from behind. He would try to make conversation, albeit in unsettling ways.
