my post had nothing to do with waco. Nothing at all. The only parallel I was trying to draw is that innocent american citizens have from time to time been injured or killed by maniacal "leaders" (the Jim Jones variety).. or perhaps worse as a result of govt miscalculations like Waco or the Rodney King incident. But these events are rare and for the most part demonized by the mainstream and dwelled upon for years. Otoh I saw films by Geraldo Rivera and others of Taliban men beating women with sticks on the streets just as mercilessly as the Rodney King incident and no one even seemed to notice. I KNEW not to bring up waco... my bad. L
