One thing that has changed on the fundamental side is that Dram prices bottomed on 9/25/02 and have been moving up ever since.
That IMO is the reason that the NDX has been stronger than the Dow. It also gives traders an excuse to go long.

Dram prices also moved up between 5/10/02 and 5/16/02, but not nearly as much. Then a DDR 256MB moved from 6.36 to 6.52. Now it has moved from 6.30 to 6.94. As long as Dram prices keep rising, I would expect the rally to continue.
