Does a bear visit the woods? Are Bush Officials Exploiting Bali Blast... Here's some more exploitations: - Sniper hunt brings out military surveillance of civilian areas. IMO this is only the beginning, and will be used to justify full-scale surveillance of any neighborhood/home/office at any time. With sufficient chaos thrown up, they can now justify anything they've had on the drawing boards since Nixon. Further insult to citizen intelligence is to paper over unilateral elimination of Posse Comitatus by ludicrously saying, "the military won't analyze the data, only the civilian police will". That's like saying, "you can trust me, I'm with the Bush family". - Bush says he's against gun identification program. This will be shown to be pure posturing, when laws to accomplish just that get on the books by next year.
