I'd say Eleazar from what I read "sounnds like" Lazarus- and "suggessts" it but ... isn't, per se, Lazurus at least according to what I read. Maybe you have different commentary, or you remember wrong. It is suggested that he is the wandering Jew- Judas- and he is condemned to walk the Earth. Further, since Leibowitz was thought to have possibly turned his back on Em, he could be a Judas figure. IMO that works far better than the Lazurus theory- which is not a done deal Neo- even if you like to say "is" when "could be" would be more appropriate. I knew there would be a problem discussing this with you. Sigh I knew you would be "right" about whatever your idea was. So fine, you just keep thinking that.
