More OT--We both don't know what the founding fathers' intent truly was, we can only guess. And your point about amending the Constitution is well taken.

But to the issue at hand, do you really believe that the second amendment is completely unambiguous? Wouldn't it be very simple for educated people such as Thomas Jefferson to write a clearer passage if that was their intent?
