i learned the other day that the speculative equity bubble of '28-29 was immediately preceeded by an enormous real estate bubble (if i have this wrong, somebody please correct me). while going through some tables at the back of Kindleberger book i noticed that many bubbles have a multi-stage composition.

which begs the question...once our equity bottom is in, is it time to start looking for the bursting of our real estate bubble?
