According to MOT, "It appears now that an irregular short-term up-and-down economic growth pattern may emerge quarterly." MOT reported weaker than expected revenues that came in 12% below the year-ago level.

It looks like mutual fund ownership decreased for the first time in 15 years. For the 12 months ending in May, about 4% fewer households (50%) owned mutual funds than in the prior year.
