I have demonstrated everything you have said is wrong.

You said +1000 polls were rare.
You said that GWB was up by a landslide in the polls.
You said that likely voter polls were inaccurate because they were too restrictive.

All proven wrong.

It is you that does not understand margin of error. The margin of error describes the question for the group polled. So for "Adults" the poll has a 3% margin of error. For "likely voters", it is meaningless. And as I have proven, the likely voter polls are the accurate ones.

The reported margin of error assumes two things: that
the sample was properly collected (and therefore represents
the cross-section of the target population)
, and that the questions are properly designed and in fact measure the
underlying concepts that are of interest.

If either of these two assumptions is violated, the margin of error underestimates the real difference between the survey results and what the population “thinks.”

As you can see, without the proper sample, the margin of error is meaninless.

However, I do thank you on behalf of the thread for demonstrating your utter contempt for facts. Don't worry, all is not lost, for every poll of "adults", you ought to be able to count on 30-40 dead people voting for Democrats.
