I think Zeev is wrong. The basis for the rally we had the last few days was a very oversold market combined with contrarian readings like the VIX over 50.

The problem with the rally was evident in INTC's and other companies earning reports and outlook. There just is not enough in the way of improving earnings for this rally to continue in my opinion. There is no reason to believe an economic recovery is just around the corner. In fact we may get a true double dip recession. Anyway I think we may be able to tread water the next week or so but then down again in my opinion until the S&P 500 has a more reasonable bear market valuation. Ultimately that means even lower lows all the way around.
