ignoring the nation-building process in Afghanistan. These complaints that we are not acting as a "National Nanny" in Afghanistan continue to astound me. Do you want us to "Police" the entire country? That is a recipe to make sure the people hate us. Do you want us to throw "Foreign Aid" at them? That is a recipe to pour money down a rathole. If the country is going to get organized, they will have to do it. We have enough troops there to stop a Religious takeover, and other than that, the best thing we can do is stay out of the way.
