He does not remember it was the Catholic Church because it was not the Catholic church- not as it is now. It was a mutated outgrowth of Catholicism, but that does not make it the Catholic Church. Feel free to call it the Catholic Church, but don't castigate people for having a different opinion on that. One could easily make the case that a mutation is not the original. And your Lazarus may not necessarily be Lazarus. Yet you state it as if it were fact. It appears to me to be your opinion, and the "suggestion" of a few other webcritiques- although I don't remember any of them stating it as fact. Makes it no fun to have discussions with you.
