The official, certified US Government popular vote totals showed 540,540 more popular votes for Gore, than Bush.

Tommie has repeatedly claimed some hallucination of his for a, exact quote: "16 million population vote" win for Bush...

I have repeatedly asked him: where are these 'votes' recorded, where are they tallied... and finally "do you even know what a VOTE is?

There is obviously no such thing as a 'population vote' in US elections. There are 'popular votes', and there are 'electoral votes'... but people who stay at home and don't go to the polls don't get officially counted as a 'population vote'.

It's quite simple: if people stay on their sofas - and don't go to vote - then how would you know who they 'would have' pulled the levers for if they had gotten off their buts to actually vote... that's ONE BIG HUGE CAN OF WORMS if you are going to try to read people's minds and then pull the lever's for them.

The Web site poor Tommie references was put up as a joke... to respond to some similiarly funny Democratic fake vote statistics.

His Web site refers to things like 'crime statistics', 'size of counties', etc., as if crime statistics or dirt could cast votes....
