While the Dems' fabrications finally reached their tawdry height in 2000, with the fabrication of as many as 2 million Gore votes, they still have to take another stab at it 2002, despite the fact that it will give Ashcroft enough additional evidence to fall over on them like a ton of bricks afterwords. Why the urgency? Because every Dem who takes an honest look at 2004 sees a Bush landslide of 60% or better. And there's not a damn thing they can do about it. So, given Ashcroft's ultimate effectiveness over the next several years (and the possibility that CONGRESS will eventually step in with SOME effort to bring integrity back to the electoral process), 2002 may be their LAST CHANCE to win elections without winning votes. We can only hope they screw it up as badly as they did in 2000...
