The markets are, as far as I can tell, being led around by hedge funds, and then following the trend are the day-traders, and someone usually is left holding the bag...
And it isn't the well run hedge funds...
So, from that I extrapolate there is zero, none, nada investing for the long term, just short term trading.
Maybe the a/h spike in IBM will save the day tomorrow.
Or maybe not...Seems like turds are getting harder to polish.

Yes, you want to have a chair when the music stops..

We still have the traditional tax loss selling season to get through, so things will be dicey till the new year, and God only knows what that will bring...

Any terrorist attacks here in the US that cause serious injury or death and the economy will slow fast, and lead to further market declines.
