As far as Florida is concerned, only God (and perhaps Katherine Harris) know where the truth lies, and she ain't ever gonna tell.

I still contend something fishy happened on election night, after the TV networks called Florida for Gore based on polling at selected precincts. GWB left his family gathering about 8 p.m. and phoned confidants in private. An hour later, Florida was once again declared a toss-up. Who did Georgie call and what information/assurances were conveyed to him?
