I think you're on to something there, Jeff. IMO, it's likely the shootings were all from a closer range than originally thought. And the fact that the shooter came out of the vehicle and allowed himself to be seen by witnesses is interesting. Could it be they're becoming more brazen in some unconscious desire to be caught?

Apparently they aren't. The Delta Force guy interviewed by CNN yesterday obviously had "inside" information, and he said that none of the victims had been shot from more than 100 yards.
