While still not a positive proscription, that's the closest to an idea I've seen from you, Win. Of course, since "places other than Iraq much more closely involved in random terrorist operations" are places like Iran and Saudi Arabia, this suggestion raises its own problems. Isn't it time for another NYT whine or two while you're at it? Believe it or not, I don't complain on schedule, only in response to provocation. Haven't seen any since the spinning of the NYTimes/CBS poll, which several sources have Fisked already.
